Welcome to the Club, we are a private members club with special playing rights over the Crookhorn Course. Being a member brings out the best from your golf and enables you to meet new and old friends in a friendly family club.


Enjoy the benefits of membership with over 80 trophy, team and fun events.
Join in the Summer Knock-Outs, the weekly Trophy Events played throughout the summer, Winter League, Turkey Trots and why not join the Club Team Events against other clubs?
Men's Competitions are played on a Saturday & Sunday with special reserved tee times.
Ladies Competitions are played on a Tuesday and Sunday, again special tee times are reserved for members.
Veteran's play each Wednesday with the same tee reservations.

CONGU Handicap

As a member of PORTSMOUTH GOLF CLUB you are able to obtain an official CONGU handicap which is recognised worldwide. If you play little golf but wish to retain an official handicap then PGC is the ideal way to do this.

As a member of PORTSMOUTH GOLF CLUB you will be able to obtain a COUNTY CARD and enjoy golf at other clubs often saving of 50% on green fees. For information and application form etc. click this link: COUNTY CARD


Join PORTSMOUTH GOLF CLUB and enter in the NAPGC National competitions and Club team events. It's a great way in which to play new courses and meet new people. Some of the Knock-Out events have the finals at St Andrews!
