The 2015 Club Championships was again played over the downland course. The weather remained clear with sunshine, but a cool strong breeze gave the players a little to think about.
After round one Keith Jenkins held the lead with a gross 70 followed by the historical winner Ron Quarrington on 71.
Ian Curtis had the perfect round with a net score of 68 in Div1 Salver.
Paul Butcher held to a 74 in the Div 2 Salver.
Round 2 was a more difficult day with the breeze turning into a strong wind, sadly the first round leader lost the magic touch on the greens to three putt several times for a 79 gross. Ron came in with what he would call a disappointing round of 76 but good enough to be Club Champion.
Ian Curtis followed his excellent round with a net 67 to close on Net 135 to win the Div1 Salver.
Ray Deacon came in with a Net 69 to push Paul Butcher into second place with Net 145.
